The Lady Panthers Basketball team has had a busy November. Saturday November 12th, they played in the annual Randy Johnson Tourney in Salem. In the first game for the 8th grade Lady Panthers Faced off against the Silver Creek Dragons. Our 8th grade Lady Panthers ended up taking a tough loss with a score of 26-38. Points were put up by Jones (12), Gerdon (5), Wright (4), Knasel (3), and Evans (2).
In their first game, our 7th grade took a tough loss against Bedford, with an ending score of 30-17. Points were put up by Windell (1), Nale (7), Bulleit (7), and Ayers (2).
After the setback, our 7th grade took an awesome win against Lansville, with an ending score of 31-16. Points were put up by Windell (2), Nale (8), Bulleit (8), Scatterly (4), Ayers (1), Williams (2) and Kraft (4).
To finish out the weekend, the 8th grade faced off against Scottsburg. Our 8th grade Lady Panthers ended up taking an exhilarated win with a score of 25-24. Points were put up by Jones (8), Gerdon (9), Wright (4), Dougherty (2), and Evans (2).
The Lady Panthers then had a quick turn around on Monday, and they faced off against Silver Creek. Our 8th grade Lady Panthers were conquered by the Dragons with a score of 23-21. Points were put up by Gerdon (3), Wright (1), Russel (2), Lathan (5), and Evans (10). Our 7th took a thrilling win against the Dragons, with an ending score of 31-21. Points were put up by Nale (12), Bulleit (15), and Kraft (4).
The Lady Panthers are back in action on Thursday against county rival South Central. Tipoff of the 7th grade game is 6pm.
