The CCHS Student Council will be hosting its first ever Breakfast with Santa on Sat Dec 16th from 9-Noon in our Aux Gym. In addition we are also going to have local vendors set up for everyone to enjoy some last minute shopping! This will be open to the community and all staff are invited to join!

We are excited to announce that today we are starting the Domino’s Pizza Fundraiser. The money raised will go toward Panther reader/House programs!.

Let’s begin by registering to Pick Your Prize by clicking here http://stpcards.com/41485r . Once you register, your child will be able to pick their prize and share their very own store link! Once the fundraiser is complete, they will receive the prize they selected from the highest level they qualify for.
After registering, share your child’s link via email, text, and social media! When a customer clicks on your link it will take them directly to your child’s store to purchase a card and we will send the card directly to them. Using your personalized link will ensure your child is given credit for the purchase.
Also, once you register you will have two chances to earn a $50 Amazon card! The registered student with the most cards sold by 11/20 will win a $50 Amazon gift card (when our school sells at least 100 cards online).

There is no girls basketball game tonight versus Brownstown. They did not have enough to play. The game may be rescheduled at a later date.

Monday 10/23: Follow your DREAMS with a drug free future! Wear your pajamas!
Tuesday 10/24: Be bold, be brave, be YOU! Wear red for Red Ribbon Reek!
Wednesday 10/25: Support each other to stay drug free! Choose a friend to be your twin and dress alike!
Thursday 10/26: Pink out! Unite against breast cancer and wear the color pink!
Friday 10/27: Drugs are scary! Wear your Halloween costume (no masks, face paint or props).
***The dress code still applies during special dress-up days! Please make sure your clothing is school appropriate. You will be asked to change if you are not complying with the dress code!***
“…and the home of the Brave!” CCJHS & CCHS students & staff, do you know a veteran that would allow us to honor him/her at our Veterans Day Program? If so, let us know! It will take place Thur., Nov. 9 @ 9am in the CCHS gym. Veterans may arrive as early as 8:15am (Door #8) for coffee & other goodies beforehand. Veteran info needs to be emailed with a subject of “Vet Day” to wisemanjen@shcsc.k12.in.us no later than Mon., Nov. 6 and include:
1. Veteran’s name
2. Rank
3. Branch of military
4. Years of service
5. Were they part of a foreign war (if so, when/where)
6. CCJHS/CCHS Connection (which student/staff member knows the veteran)

If you are in the market for a new Christmas tree, then we want your OLD ONE! If pre-lite and lights don't work, no problem we will give it new life. CCJHS is collecting gently used Christmas trees and decorations to do our 2nd annual House tree auction (in Nov). Please drop off donations at CCJHS door #9 or under the canopy and label for House tree auction.

Tonight's game against Highland Hills will be made up at 10am on Saturday at Highland Hills. There will only be one game. The bus will leave at 8:30am, and Coach Woodward will notify parents letting them know what time the locker room will be open.
