Last night, the cross country team won the Harrison County Championship meet at North Harrison. The girls team won their 6th straight County title and the boys won their 5th straight title. Congratulations to Gillian Delong, Mila Leghart and Gideon Broom who received All-County medals by placing in the Top 10. Great work Panthers!

Our students are excited to be participating in Accelerated Reader again this year. They read, take a short quiz, and earn prizes! We have several students who have already exceeded their reading goal for the entire year!! Great job, readers!

Next week is an exciting week with our Scholastic Book Fair and Parent/Teacher Conferences. The Book Fair will be open for students during the school day and will also be open during conferences. We will have dress up days next week to go along with our Book Fair theme, "Campout With a Good Book." Monday : Cozy up with a good book - Pajama Day Tuesday: No School - Parent/Teacher Conferences Wednesday: Take a hike - Wear workout clothes Thursday: Trail Mix Thursday - Wear mismatched clothes Friday: Favorite spot for travelling - Wear a souvenir shirt from a place you have traveled or hope to travel to

The cross country team competed last night at the North Harrison Invitational against 25 other teams. Our girls varsity team did an amazing job and finished 2nd. Great job to Emylie Short, Rachel Rowan, Gillian Delong and to Mila Leghart who received a medal by placing in the top 25. Our varsity boys team came home with another win last night and Gideon Broom received a medal for placing in the Top 10. Congratulations to Kolten Karmire, Jude Gay, Abby Lindeman, Sofia Horn, Reagan Wise and Bailey Heitkemper for all earning ribbons in the Open Race. Great job Panthers!

Our cross country team came home with two wins last night. Both the boys and the girls teams won the Hokum Karem meet at Silver Creek last night. This was a relay-style meet where athletes run alternating miles to total 4 miles. Several of our teams received medals for their outstanding performances last night. For the boys team, Kolten Karmire and Jude Gay were 15th, Kyler Robertson and Christian Miller were 10th, Cash Coffman and Mason Freeman placed 6th, Brennan Shearer and Gideon Broom placed 3rd and Isaac Hamilton and Braxton Holland finished first with a combined time of 21:34. For the girls team, Rachel Rowan and Raegan Wise placed 15th, Gillian Delong and Emylie Short were 8th, Sophia Bulleit and Mila Leghart placed 4th and Cora Broom and Ella Taylor finished in first place with a combined time of 25:44. Amazing Work Panthers!
