Students working on a project

We are excited to share with you a recent STEM activity that our 1st grade students participated in. It was a fun and engaging challenge that required teamwork and critical thinking skills. Let's dive into the details!

The Challenge

Our students were given the task of rescuing Fred the Worm using only two paper clips and a life preserver made of gummy worms (life savers). The goal was to work together and find a way to maneuver the worm into the life preserver using the limited resources provided.

Critical Thinking and Collaboration

This activity encouraged our students to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions. They had to analyze the problem, brainstorm ideas, and collaborate effectively to achieve their goal. It was inspiring to see their enthusiasm and dedication throughout the process.
