Our 5th graders have been hard at work researching Native American tribes and creating artifacts for their museum display projects! Today, they participated in peer reviews of each other’s work, using a rubric to guide their feedback. The rubric, which outlined clear criteria and expectations, was also used by students in the creation of their own projects, ensuring consistency between creation and evaluation. The positive feedback from peers provided valuable insights and boosted confidence. Through this hands-on approach, students have gained a deeper understanding of Native American cultures while engaging creatively with the material. This experience has allowed them to reflect on the creativity and effort their classmates put into representing artifacts from various Native American regions.student studentstudentstudent
