We spent the morning working on our phonics skills ai and ay by using tweezers to carefully remove and place them into words, putting sentences in order and stitching sentences together, and preformed text features surgery.

In the afternoon we worked again on finding the correct time digitally, analogy, and in word form and then stitched them together. Students also had to draw the correct time on a clock to let the surgeons know what time they had to operate on their patient. Lastly they of course got a chance to play the classic operation game with their fellow doctors.

On top of all that we had 3 guest family members come in and talk about their experiences in the medical field. They helped run a station and even brought in some of their tools to show and demonstrate on the students. We can’t thank them enough for taking time to come in and educate us and maybe influence some future nurses or doctors.
