South Central Elementary School is fortunate to have a wonderful art teacher - Mrs. Hertle. Recently, Mrs. Hertle did an art lesson centered on the book, The Dot. In the book, an art teacher helps a little girl learn that anyone can be an artist. To help illustrate this, students created their own dot-inspired art work. Their creations are posted in the display case in the front hallway.
If you have never read The Dot, we strongly encourage you to take a look and maybe create some dot art of your own.
In addition to this, Mrs. Hertle has some fall-inspired artwork on display outside of the art room.
