Senior Mock Interviews: Preparing for Success
Seniors from South Central and Corydon Central have actively participated in mock interviews, refining their resumes and interviewing skills in collaboration with WorkOne. The culmination of this effort was seen in the Senior Mock Interviews conducted on February 2nd and 8th, where students had the opportunity to put their skills to the test. Networking opportunities and even real job offers were on the table, providing a tangible connection between classroom learning and real-world applications.
Rotary Meeting Highlights Construction Pathway Success
Jonathan Zwahlen and Dow O'Neal, exemplary seniors from the Construction Pathway, shared their experiences at a Rotary Meeting in February. Agri-Science Pathway Internship Opportunities
Students in the Agri-Science Pathway had the chance to explore internship opportunities as they connected with local businesses, including John Deere and Wright Implement, on February 20th. This hands-on experience allows students to apply their classroom knowledge in real-world settings, fostering a deeper understanding of their chosen career paths.
PROSSER Career Education Center Exploration
On February 22nd, Corydon Central 10th graders delved into the myriad opportunities offered at the PROSSER Career Education Center. This experience not only broadened their understanding of available CTE programs but also helped them make informed decisions about their educational and career paths.
