The environmental science classes participated in their final project for the water unit this week. They did a STEM project and worked through the engineering process to create a water filter from common materials. Then today during RTI/enrichment time we joined a Zoom meeting with Greenheck engineer, Cole and an engineering student from Ole Miss, Bryce. A couple of students (Michaela Sampson and Stevie Wright) volunteered to tell them about their prototypes and received valuable feedback about their group's projects. We love seeing students stepping up as leaders and taking ownership of their learning!
As a reminder, there is no school tomorrow, Tuesday, September 12, 2023, for all day parent-teacher conferences. Please message or email your student's teacher of you have any questions.
Cereal drive is going on this week. This will count toward a battle of the classes between 7-12th graders. The class that brings in the highest percentage of cereal boxes will earn a donut party! Bring in those boxes of cereal (sealed and unopened : )
