Everyone, go thank our bus drivers in the comments!! If anyone has driven through the Corydon campus in the morning or afternoon, they know our bus drivers are the real MVPs navigating car riders, multiple pick up times and regular traffic. Thank you! An incredible bus crew! 💛

Please remember, that SHCSC will not be in session on Friday, April 18, 2025.

Congrats to Ms. Walker's class for winning April's Papa Johns pizza night with 24% of her class participating!

CES PTO Meeting this evening 5:30pm in the cafeteria. Please plan on attending & be a part of the group who support our teachers and students!

CES 3rd graders participated in an ILEARN pep rally on Monday! Students were reminded by their superhero teachers to get plenty of rest, eat a healthy breakfast, and do their best on the state assessment which will occur over the next few weeks. Students then participated in minute to win it games with an especially messy game of digging gummy worms from a bowl of whipped cream with only their mouths! Love the competition and enthusiasm, let's carry it on to testing and show the state what we know!

LOVED MEETING OUR FUTURE PANTHERS!!! We had a great time at Kindergarten Round Up and our Preschool event this week. We can't wait for next year! 💛 🐾

Dear CES Families,
I am writing to request your support for the CES PTO. We have officer elections next Tuesday, April 15 at 5:30pm and currently do not have enough potential officers to sponsor the PTO. I am desperately concerned for the future of the CES PTO if we cannot sustain an officiating board and participating members. The PTO currently supports our students and teachers with Field Trips, Field Day, school-spirit shirts, teacher reimbursement of classroom materials, holiday activity nights, guest speakers for assemblies, and many other parts of the school day that will not continue without enhanced support. I do not want to imagine a school without these student opportunities! The only way the PTO can continue providing at this level is with the support of families.
Our PTO meets every other month, and with more individuals, the workload would be very manageable for busy parents. Please consider joining our meeting, preferably in person, but also via Facebook Live to help add your input to an organization that does so much to support our students and teachers. This request is not a request for funding, it is a request for people to offer to assist regularly for meetings and special events.
Finally I want to thank our officers for the 24/25 school year for their dedication and hard work that has enhanced the student experience at Corydon Elementary!
Thank you,
Josh Evans and Brandy Enlow Co-Presidents
Jessica Boehnlein & Joshlyn Thatcher Co-Vice Presidents
Jennifer Timberlake Treasurer
Brooke Book & Kristi Wheatley Co-Secretaries
Thank you to those individuals who have made it to PTO Meetings this year and volunteered to support activities, your help is greatly appreciated and necessary to the survival of the CES PTO.
Sincerely,
Scott Ferriell
