Coats, jackets, hoodies, oh my! The CES lost and found is bursting at the seams. If your student has misplaced an item, please have them retrieve it from the cafeteria. Items will be donated as of Friday, December 6, 2024. Thank you to Ms. Walker, Ms. Fessel, and Ms. Fleace for folding and organizing the mountain of clothing.
It's currently all things turkey at CES! Our students have been working on writing and art projects to help ring in the season. We hope you enjoy a some of our students effort and creativity!

Ms. Adams' students were treated to an educational visit from a couple of local military personnel . Kris Hobt Marines and Army (retired) and Brittany Hobt Army (active) were pilots when they served in their respective branches. Both guests shared how they were generational service members and shared a great pride of serving their country by following in family members footsteps. CES would like to thank our guests and all Veterans for their service!

Our CES 1st grade classes celebrated special persons day(s) this week in their student's respective classrooms. Our guests were treated to special read alouds, crafts, and treats supplied by the CES PTO! Thank you to everyone who could make it, we will be celebrating 3rd grade classes Nov 12-15.
Please remember that Thursday, October 31 will be Our School is Drug Free by wearing our Panther gear!
We will wrap up Red Ribbon Week on Friday, November 1 with Say Boo to Drugs by getting one more use of this year's Halloween costume. Please no masks or props resembling weapons.
The CES PTO is presenting Paint with Me Night on Friday, November 8, 2024. You may register with the QR code on the attached flier until November 6. Students attending will need to be chaperoned by an adult.

Students in Ms. Wheatley, Ms. Donoho, and Ms. Withers 3rd grade classes celebrated the end of Module 2 with a vocabulary parade. Students chose a word and created a costume representing their word. They also created an organizer explaining the definition in their own words, antonyms, synonyms, a picture, and a sentence.
