Dear Corydon Elementary Cub Scout Families,
Cub Scout Pack 4412 is really roaring back to life, and we have a meeting this week!
Here’s the big news:
🗓️ Our first Cub Scout meeting is on Wednesday, January 29th, at 7 PM at Corydon Elementary!
We’ll continue meeting every other Wednesday at 7 PM. Here are the scheduled meeting dates through June:
January: 15, 29
February: 5, 19
March: 5, 19
April: 2, 16, 30
May: 7, 21
( Last week threw things off a bit, so the schedule is flexible)
What’s happening at the first meeting?
✨ We’ll dive into some of the cool, hands-on activities that make Cub Scouting so much fun.
🎮 Scouts will play games and bond with their new packmates.
🚗 Anybody who couldn’t make it to the last meeting, will receive their Pinewood Derby Car Kits to start preparing for this exciting event.
🔧 And yes, you'll build those cars to perfection in upcoming meetings and gear up for some thrilling races!
💳 For families who have not yet paid their registration fee, the cost is $46. You can take care of this at the upcoming meeting on January 8th.
Got a friend or neighbor interested in joining the fun? Invite them to come along! The more, the merrier!
Youth Protection Training:
Take Youth Protection Training, or YPT on my.scouting.org. This certification lasts for 2 years. If you intend to be a leader in the pack this is required. Its free and only takes about an hour, and if you aren’t going to be a leader it is still good for all adults to know.

CES students and teachers celebrated the 100th day of learning in a variety of ways today! We really appreciate our "senior citizens" who went all out with awesome white hair and sympathetic back pains!

The Cub Scouts will be back at CES on Thursday, December 12 from 7-8pm in the cafeteria. Parents can register prospective scouts and find information to assist in the creation of a new pack in Corydon. We hope to see you Thursday!
